How quickly can I use the car after a leather repair has been carried out?

This will depend on the kind of remedial work that has been undertaken, in many cases an area of leather that has been repaired or recoloured and will be touch dry upon completion.

How long is a leather repair likely to last?

This will depend on the location and severity of the damage to the leather or vinyl.  If I do not feel a cosmetic repair I will make this clear when you enquire.

Why do you ask for digital photos of the damage?

When I see the full extent and location of the damage, I can give you an exact quotation and confirm whether it is something I can repair.  

After Care - Do I need to apply leather conditioner?

In most cases application of leather conditioner is not required when leather is repaired, coloured and sealed to a matt or gloss finish.

How long have you been carrying out leather repairs?

I have been an upholsterer for 30 years and started to repair leather in the mid 1990's so have over 20 years experience.  I have been using the same repair products and supplier for this time as I have found them to be of a high quality and reliable.

How do you obtain a colour match?

While it is possible to order specific colours and shades for different makes and models of car leather.  The colour of leather in each car will vary depending on its age and the kind of life it has led.  In my personal experience it is better to mix and adjust the colour on the visit to ensure a good match.

Are we in the VAT?

We are not VAT Registered so when you receive a quotation from us there is no VAT to add.

Is a Franchise?

We are not a franchise, I set up this business approx. 10 years ago when I realised I could transfer my leather repair skills onto car seats.  We are therefore, not tied into using any one set of repair products.
